WHO WE ARE

The North Texas Chapter is a professional association  of personal property appraisers within ISA, the International Society of Appraisers. Although our chapter is based in North Texas, our members live and work in Oklahoma, Louisiana and New Mexico as well as Texas.
We appraise items ranging from rugs and carpets, to antiques and decorative items, to gems and jewelry, to fine art.

Our experts represent more than 30 different art and antique area specialties and are consulted by bankers, insurers, adjusters, estate managers, trustees, executors, attorneys, judges and federal and state tax agencies from Texas and around the country. The credentials of our members range from college graduates to PhDs.

The North Texas Chapter of the International Society of Appraisers has been awarded "Chapter of the Year" by the ISA National  Board 15 times since its establishment in 1985. Two of our appraisers have regularly appeared on the PBS top rated show "Antiques Roadshow", and one of these has appeared on the show since its inception 24 years ago. We have more trained personal property appraisers per capita in North Texas than any other area of the country. What this means to you is credibility.

Our members are well connected in the antiques and appraisal industry. If we don't appraise your item, chances are we know someone who can. Choose the North Texas Chapter of the International Society of Appraisers for all of your appraisal needs.
