ABOUT ANTHONY:
Anthony started as the Librarian/Archivist at the Milwaukee Art Museum in August of 2022, where he's responsible for running an art research library of over 30,000 volumes as well as overseeing the museum's archival collections. His experience also includes working on grant-funded projects and serving as Interim Library Director for the Adirondack Experience museum. He has a plethora of experience providing reference services and teaching research best-practices in academic libraries.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW:
Together, we'll explore open access databases and other free/public resources for conducting art history and artist research. We'll discuss ways to make the most of these resources as well as strategies for gaining access to databases that require subscriptions through local institutions.
